Refund and Returns Policy

3.1 Return Window

7-Day Return Policy: Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of delivery (not purchase date). Returns submitted after 7 days will not be accepted.

3.2 Eligible Products for Return

The following products MAY be returned:

A. Damaged or Defective:

  • Products damaged during shipping
  • Manufacturing defects (discoloration, contamination, leakage)
  • Incomplete or missing items from the order
  • Incorrect products shipped

B. Wrong Item Received:

  • Order was not as described
  • Size/variant mismatch

C. Unopened and Unused:

  • Original packaging intact
  • All seals unbroken
  • Tags and labels attached

Accessories and freebies included.

3.3 Non-Returnable Products

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded..

The following products CANNOT be returned due to hygiene and safety regulations:

  • Opened or used cosmetic products (makeup, skincare, hair care)
  • Customized or personalized products (bespoke formulations, monogrammed items)
  • Products with broken seals (even if unused, due to contamination risk)
  • Applicators that have contacted skin (mascara wands, lip applicators, foundation brushes)
  • Products with damaged packaging (compromised seals or containers)
  • Clearance or final sale items (marked at checkout)
  • Promotional or discounted items (may have restricted return policies)
  • Items purchased during special sale periods (specific restrictions apply – see order details)

Hygiene Certification: Per CDSCO and cosmetic safety standards, unopened products retain hygiene certification; opened products are considered used and unsuitable for resale.

3.4 Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Return

  • Log in to your account and navigate to “My Orders”
  • Select the product(s) you wish to return
  • Click “Return/Exchange” and provide reason
  • Submit return request within 30 days of delivery

Step 2: Return Authorization

  • You will receive a return authorization number (RMA) via email
  • Include this RMA number on your return shipment
  • Approved returns only; unauthorized returns may be rejected

Step 3: Ship the Product

  • Package products securely in original packaging
  • Include all accessories, tags, and documentation
  • Ship to our warehouse address (provided in RMA email)
  • Shipping cost is borne by customer (unless defective/wrong item)
    • Exception: For damaged or wrong items shipped by us, we provide prepaid return labels

Step 4: Verification

  • Upon receipt, our team inspects the product (2-3 business days)
  • Photos of inspection may be requested for verification
  • Condition must match return policy standards

Step 5: Refund Processing

  • Once approved, refunds are initiated within 2-4 business days
  • Refund timing depends on original payment method (see Section 3.5)

Note: Refund initiation ≠ appearance in account. Banks process refunds independently.

3.6 Partial Refunds and Deductions

A. Deductions May Apply For:

  • Shipping costs (non-refundable unless product is defective/wrong)
  • Discounts applied at purchase (refunded at discounted amount)
  • COD charges (₹30-50 handling fee deducted if order canceled pre-delivery)
  • Damaged packaging or missing accessories

B. Full Refund Scenarios:

  • Damaged or defective products
  • Wrong item shipped
  • Missing items from complete order
  • Order never delivered (after 10 days from tracking indication)

C. Example Calculation:

Scenario: Customer orders 3 products for ₹500, ₹300, ₹200 (total ₹1000); returns first two:

Total refunded: ₹760

Original shipping: ₹50

Return shipping: ₹40 (customer bears)

Refund for ₹500 product: ₹500 – ₹25 (shipping allocation) = ₹475

Refund for ₹300 product: ₹300 – ₹15 (shipping allocation) = ₹285

3.7 Exchange Policy

Exchanges within 7 days for:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Wrong item shipped
  • Incorrect size/variant received

Exchange Process:

  • Request exchange within 3 days of delivery
  • Provide reason and photos (if defective)
  • We arrange courier pickup for defective item
  • Replacement shipped once received and inspected
  • Shipping for replacement on us; return shipping on customer (unless our error)

No exchange for: Used products, opened packaging, personal preference, allergy (unless defective product caused reaction).

3.8 Conditions and Restrictions

A. Return Not Accepted If:

  • Product has been used, applied, or tested
  • Original packaging is opened or damaged
  • Seals are broken (even if product unused)
  • Tags, labels, or freebies are missing
  • Product shows signs of wear or use
  • Outside the 30-day return window
  • Marked as final sale or clearance at purchase

B. iPlus Cosmetics Reserves the Right To:

  • Reject returns not meeting policy conditions
  • Refuse returns without RMA authorization
  • Offer store credit instead of refund (at our discretion, per applicable law)
  • Withhold refund if fraud is suspected

Charge restocking fee if return is not merchandise defect (subject to ₹100-200 maximum, compliant with law)

3.9 Damaged or Defective Products

To Claim Damage or Defect:

  1. Report Immediately: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@ipluscosmetics.in or +91-981 946 0986
  2. Provide Evidence:
    1. Unboxing video (preferred) or clear photos showing:
      1. Product condition upon receipt
      1. Packaging damage (if external)
      1. Visible defects, leakage, contamination, or manufacturing flaws
    1. Order number and product SKU
  3. Do Not Use: Avoid using the product; preserve original condition
  4. Assessment: Our team will review within 24-48 hours
  5. Resolution:
    1. Replacement: Full replacement shipped at no cost (prepaid return label provided
    1. Refund: Full refund (including shipping) if replacement unavailable

3.10 Wrong Item or Missing Items

If Wrong Item Received:

  • Contact us immediately with photos and order details
  • We will issue prepaid return label
  • Replacement or refund processed upon return receipt

If Items Missing from Order:

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide unboxing video or photos
  • We will ship missing item or issue refund

3.11 Non-Delivery and Lost Packages

If Order Shows as Delivered But Not Received:

  1. Wait 48 hours (delivery partner may update status)
  2. File claim with shipping partner (we provide details)
  3. Contact us at support@ipluscosmetics.in with tracking number
  4. We will coordinate with courier; resolution typically within 5 business days
  5. If unresolved after 10 days:
    1. Replacement shipped at no cost, OR
    1. Full refund (including shipping)

3.12 Cancellation Policy

Before Shipment (Cancellation Allowed):

  • Cancel within 24 hours of order placement
  • Full refund to original payment method (minus any discounts applied)
  • Processing within 2-3 business days

After Shipment (Cancellation NOT Allowed):

  • Order cannot be canceled once shipped
  • Option: Accept delivery and initiate return per Return Policy
  • Refund window is 30 days after cancellation initiated or return item(s) received.
  • Exception: If delivery date is beyond 10 days from order, customer may request cancellation; we will attempt to halt shipment but cannot guarantee. Request cancellation ASAP.

3.13 Sale Items and Promotional Products

Non-Returnable:

  • Items marked “Final Sale” at checkout
  • Clearance or liquidation products
  • Seasonal promotions (unless otherwise specified on promotion page)

Returnable:

  • Standard promotional discounts (if product meets return conditions)
  • Flash sales with standard terms
  • Bundle deals (if individual items eligible)
